Quick quote

Describe the cargo — we will build a solution

Your request goes to the manager for the direction. We do not display an automatic price: cost depends on the route, shipment type and cargo characteristics.

Key directions

Three corridors we specialise in

For each direction we match the transport mode and shipment type to the nature of the cargo.

  • RailRoadMultimodal

China → Kazakhstan and Central Asia

The core direction of the corridor: a rail leg to hub stations in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, followed by road delivery to the consignee's warehouse.

  • RailRoadMultimodal

    China → Russia

Shipments to Russian consignees through land crossings, with onward delivery to regional warehouses. The scheme is selected for the destination station and the nature of the cargo.

  • RailMultimodalSea

    China → Europe

The long leg of the corridor with transhipment to European gauge and delivery to terminals in EU countries. A multimodal scheme with a sea or road section is possible.

Terminals in China

The point where cargo comes under our control

Suppliers deliver goods to the terminal, and receiving, inspection, storage and shipment preparation then follow a single procedure.

How cargo moves

  1. Supplier

We collect cargo from the supplier's warehouse or receive it delivered to the terminal.

  2. Receiving

We check package count and weight against the packing list and record packaging condition.

  3. Check and labelling

We measure and label packages and, where needed, take photos and repack.

  4. Consolidation

We build the shipment, stow consignments in the container and secure the cargo.

  5. Customs procedures

We prepare and verify the document set and hand it to a licensed representative.

  6. Departure

The container is placed on the train, sealed, and the departure is recorded.

  7. Transit

We track the shipment through route control points and report deviations.

  8. Last mile

We collect the container from the station and deliver the cargo to the consignee.

Why SilkPort

Five reasons to work with us

Each advantage describes a practical benefit rather than a marketing promise.

  • Physical presence in China

Our own terminal site means receiving, inspection and cargo preparation are done by our team, not by a contractor with no obligations towards you.

  • One coordinator across the route

A named manager owns the shipment: they know the cargo, the documents and each party's obligations on every leg.

  • FCL, LCL and multimodal schemes

We do not force cargo into the only format available: the shipment type is chosen by volume, timing and project budget.

  • Transparent statuses and documents

Statuses are tied to route control points, documents are available per shipment, and deviations are reported before they become problems.

  • Partner network across the Eurasian corridor

Operational cooperation with network participants gives access to rail resources and local coordination in the countries along the route.

Partner network

Joint operational work on Eurasian routes

The partnership gives clients access to a developed rail network, terminal resources and local coordination in transit countries.

SilkPort Logistics works in close operational cooperation with YXE / Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe and other participants of the Eurasian logistics network.

Partner logos and the exact legal status of the cooperation are published only after written confirmation of usage rights.

About the partner network
  • Access to a developed rail network

Cooperation with Eurasian network participants widens the set of available directions and shipment options.

  • Terminal resources along the route

Cargo handling at transit nodes is performed by partners who operate in those locations permanently.

  • Local coordination

Issues on the ground are resolved by teams that know the station, the crossing and local document requirements.

How we work

Six steps from request to cargo release

The sequence is the same for container and consolidated shipments — only the details inside each step change.

  1. Request

You describe the cargo, origin and destination. We clarify the details that shape the scheme.

  2. Route selection

We propose scheme options: transport mode, transhipment points, shipment type.

  3. Quote and contract

Cost, scope of services, responsibilities and timing are fixed in the contract.

  4. Cargo receiving

We receive the cargo at the terminal, verify completeness and prepare it for departure.

  5. Transport and control

We run the shipment along the route, report statuses and flag deviations.

  6. Release to consignee

We arrange collection, delivery to the warehouse and handover of documents.
